Hideaway Duffers ("Duffers", "we", "us") is a private golf club of approximately 150 members.
This policy explains what personal information we hold, why, and the choices you have. We keep the
club's data to the club.
What we collect
Your name.
Your mobile phone number.
Your email address.
A photograph, taken at enrolment to confirm identity within the club.
Your participation: weekly play responses (RSVPs) and game results.
We collect this in person, when a board member enrols you. We do not gather information through
public forms, and we do not buy or import contact lists.
How we use it
To run the club: the weekly "are you playing?" poll, team assignments, results, and the member directory.

To let board members administer membership.
Text messages (SMS)
Your mobile number is used to send you club text messages: a weekly play poll and occasional board announcements.
We never sell or share your mobile number, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
To deliver these messages we use a messaging provider (currently Twilio) and your mobile carrier. They process the message solely to deliver it.
You can stop all texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
Message and data rates may apply, per your carrier.
SMS consent is never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose.
Who can see your information
Nothing about any member appears on any public page. The only page a non-member can reach shows no member data.
Within the signed-in club, your contact details are hidden by default. You choose whether to show your contact information to other members.
Board members can see membership information in order to administer the club.
We share information with service providers only to the extent needed to run the club (for example, the SMS provider above). We do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are a member, and remove or anonymise it within a reasonable
period after you leave the club or ask us to.
Security
Access to member information requires signing in, and administrative access is limited to board members.
